My (Totally Opposite) Girls

I just love this picture.
Why? Because it seems to show the differences in my girls in just a simple snapshot. This is the way my girls are around most people. See Sassy, kind of shy and reserved.(She isn't always this way. Hence, the name Sassy.) Now, see Sissy. Sneaky, that is word that I use to describe her most of the time and this picture captured just that. They are so different. Probably more than I ever thought they would be. But, I love them and that is one thing they will always have in common.

If you are a Dave Ramsey fan you will love this website! I just found out about this cool new thing called Yodlee. It is a FREE website that will link all of your accounts much like Quicken, but like I said it is FREE! I looked it over and it is all secure and verified and stuff and, oh yeah, did I mention it is FREE! It will track your spending, debt, accounts, and even your net worth for, FREE! I also found out about a "Town Hall Meeting" live show that Dave is doing Thursday at 7:00 central. Just go to the website for details in your area!

Now that my website is more aesthetically appealing, maybe I will be drawn to it more often, too. I thought the music would be a nice touch (thanks to the Vining Family Blog or I wouldn't have known where to go). I know that the first song title isn't exactly happy snappy, but just listen to the words. It is written and sung by a pair of brothers and I hope my girls will always feel this strongly about their family. Anyway, better go fix breakfast for my girls. Enjoy my soundtrack: these songs make me happy.

I'm Still Standing

I've been sick and at work. So, just wanted it to be known that haven't disappeared! Even though, I think that I am the only one who reads this. But, do I really read it, since I am the one writing it? I guess that's a "if a tree falls in the forest" question! Sorry! It's late! I'm going now! I am going to try and post some pics this weekend; that is, unless I can't find my computer for the laundry and messy house!!!!!!

Greek To Me

Well, this is all new to me, but I thought I would give it a shot. I do have a few favorite blogs (mainly photography), but my sister told me about a friend of hers who has a blog. Just a regular mom like me. So, after failed attempts to keep a journal (writing manually takes too much time) and a photo website of my girls, I thought maybe the combination of the two might work.
You can call it venting, you can call it rambling, but I call it THERAPY! Even if no one reads it, I know it is here and I have told someone (even if it is the world wide web) about my day. I love my girls and I want to capture memories of them as much as possible. And, I love my husband, but I think sometimes he would like to have more intellectual conversation, than to hear ALL the stories about the stuff that our girls did throughout the day! (You know poop and boogers can only be so interesting!) :) So, I'll give him the highlights and give this blog that and all the rest. So, without further ado, here is my BLOG! (By the way, if you hate the black, sorry! I just had to use it, because I love the way pictures of my girls just pop against it!)
